Matching Your Existing Trim

Trim in Hand

If you're repairing a cabinet, replacing a panel section, or building from scratch, getting the right fit is critical. This H-channel is not trailer-specific. To get the right fit, you'll need to match it to your existing trim by measurement. If you're replacing a section, measure your current trim or panel setup and compare:

  • Overall length (this channel is 93-1/2")
  • Overall height (this channel is 2")
  • Overall width (this channel is 7/8")
  • Internal channel opening (measure the inside width of each channel where the panel slides in)
  • Panel thickness (the thickness of the material that fits into the channel)

The fit depends on both the channel opening and the panel thickness. Even small differences can prevent panels from seating properly or staying securely in place. If you're not sure, take a few measurements and photos of your current setup and reach out to etrailer support for help comparing options.
